Whipped Cacao Butter Body Cream

Whipped Cacao Butter Body Cream

  • Rigello Cacao Butter: 1/2 cup
  • Coconut Oil: 1/4 cup
  • Jojoba Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Essential Oil of Choice: A few drops (e.g., lavender, vanilla, or citrus)

1. Melt the Cacao Butter:
Start by gently melting the 1/2 cup of Rigello Cacao Butter. You can use a microwave or a double boiler for this step. Be careful not to overheat; melting it slowly is key.

2. Add Coconut Oil:
Once the cacao butter is fully melted, stir in the 1/4 cup of coconut oil. Coconut oil has a lower melting point and will help keep the mixture soft and creamy.

3. Incorporate Jojoba Oil:
Add 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil to the mixture. Jojoba oil is excellent for the skin as it closely resembles natural skin oils and helps maintain a soft texture.

4. Scent It Naturally:
Enhance your body cream with your choice of essential oil. A few drops should suffice to provide a delightful fragrance and added skincare benefits. Stir well to evenly distribute the scent.

5. Chill and Whip:
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, but not to the point of solidifying. Then, transfer it to the refrigerator and chill for about 20-30 minutes. You want it to thicken slightly but remain soft.

6. Whip It Up:
Once the mixture has cooled and thickened slightly, remove it from the refrigerator. Use a hand mixer or a stand mixer to whip the mixture for a few minutes until it becomes light and fluffy, like a soft cream.

7. Store It:
Transfer your whipped cacao butter body cream to a clean glass jar with a tight-sealing lid. Store it at room temperature or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Now, you have a luxurious whipped cacao butter body cream that will stay soft and creamy at room temperature. Enjoy its nourishing benefits and delightful scent for smooth, hydrated skin!
